You can see through the trees where the pond is supposed to end!
Our neighbor's car. Thankfully we moved our cars in the middle of the night down the street where the water did not reach.
Our neighbor's truck and a kayaker enjoying the new river.
Smart-a** neighbors taking a leisurely float on their rafts.
Me, in the middle of the night, taking a stroll down our street.
A video I shot the next morning from our front door of our new river.

wow.. good thing your house is sort of on a hill!
Wow, I am so sorry that everything flooded like that. Man! My kids would think it was kind of fun though. Floating in your own front yard...

Wow. I just got caught up on your life over the past couple of weeks! You have been through the wringer! (there's a flood joke there, but it probably isn't funny)
I'm glad you are okay after your accident and hope the flood damage can be rectified soon...with beautiful results in your home.
Love,
Nance

That is insane! I'm glad that you are back with running water now. I would have gone nuts without it! Thank goodness to nice neighbors.
Well, all I can say is "what in the world are YOU doing in that water????" I am glad it is all getting cleaned up. Thank God everyone was safe! Love, Joan
