When It Rains

... it not just pours, it's a monsoon.

After battling various illnesses over the past three weeks, Simon was diagnosed with RSV and bronchial asthma yesterday. After running around town to find a nebulizer last night and getting our baby breathing easier (his oxygen levels were low), I took him back to the pediatrician today for a re-check of his lungs. Now it is not RSV, but pneumonia. Plus another double ear infection and a double eye infection. With Simon and Clare combined, I am administering 20 doses of medication daily plus nebulizer treatments every four hours. And Shawn is away on business. Join my pity party please! And pray for Simon to kick this pneumonia and be back on the road to health.

Tree, you are my hero! I don't know how you do it. You are definitely in my thoughts and I'll say prayers that little Simon starts feeling better ASAP. Preston just got over an ear infection, but that was just two medicine doses a day - not ten times that. Where do you keep your cape?

I reiterate Michelle (etc.)'s statement - I wish I was closer!! I didn't know that Shawn was away, and Uncle Tee Jay and I are still praying for our precious Simon (and Clare and Jamie). We hope to see everyone (somewhat more helpful) this week.

Actually, we want to see everyone more HEALTHY...not more helpful! :)

I really hope that everyone recovers quickly and it doesn't get passed around some more. That seems to be the trick, treat the one who's sick and keep the rest from getting it...
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I feel your pain sister. Noah is the one sick this week. Just a nasty head cold, but he is miserable. Hold tight, spring is just around the corner.
