Good News

We finally had a good echo! Clare had her afternoon of tests yesterday with her pediatric cardiologist here at home. Her heart looks great! Her aorta is the size a normal aorta should be, and her pulmonary side even looks good. There is almost no pressure change across her aorta and a very mild one across the pulmonary branches where her stents are. Her cardiologist said that if Clare continues along this path of progression, she will not need another cath for 5-6 months. We were elated at this news! Now Clare does have a history of progressing faster than expected, but I will be happy to even get 4 months down the road! It would be wonderful to make it past Clare's first birthday at the end of March before she has to go back to the hospital.
